Registered Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is the assessment and manipulation of soft tissues and joints of the body to affect a therapeutic response in the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction.  Massage can help alleviate the soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday stress, muscular overuse and many chronic pain syndromes.

Massage Therapy may include other modalities or specific techniques, such as hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, deep tissue massage and remedial exercises.

Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage is a unique form of bodywork dating back to ancient times over 2,500 years ago.  It was originally practiced in temples throughout Thailand by Buddhist monks as a means of invigorating the mind and body.  Thai Massage also known as Thai Yoga Massage combines soothing massage techniques, thumb pressure similar to acupressure and applied yoga stretches.Thai Massage is a dynamic and powerful therapy that is becoming increasingly popular world-wide for relieving stress and stress related disorders.  Many benefits include gentle muscle stretching, increasing flexibility, deeprelaxation, improving posture, joint mobility and energy levels.  Thai Massage has a vast array of techniques and therapists use their hands, feet, legs, knees and elbows to free tension held within the body.  Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor, very little and sometimes no oil is used, the client remains fully clothed in loose comfortable clothing (yoga wear).  Thai Massage is very relaxing, invigorating and energizing.
